Discussion article for the meetup : Future Meetup for Indonesian LWers

I remember about LW’s survey sometimes ago, and when the survey result come out, I see that only one LWers is come from Indonesia. Obviously that was me.
I try to search forum and this site, using keyword "Indonesia", and only found one user, which is me.
Now, in case someone from and/or live in my country like to have a meetup, I put this reminder, so when they search this site they will find it and maybe we can have meetup.
I knew LW for quite a while and didn’t bother to sign up because I have limited English and there is very high entry barrier for participation here (not newbie friendly). I was pretty much a lurker, until now, when I came across this post.
And Jonathan, this is me Isti, I believe that you are the Jonathan Maddison I met long time ago in Starbucks in a mall in Jakarta at the Jakarta Non Believer group. The bule you were talking has left Indonesia and now currently lives in Minnesota. I am now one of the moderator in Jakarta. I tried to set up an event, but when no one signed up. Later did I know the event was gone. It’s nowhere to be found so I gave up. I hang out with people from the Indonesian Atheist, which I also think might be a good place to start.
I will definitely come and will bring friends. RSVP for 2015.

Any luck with this? You might want to set the date further into the future, 2015 is coming up soon.
When I was in Jakarta last time, CouchSurfing.org had a "Free Thinkers group."
It was a bit too focussed around religion for my liking, but regardless there was some good discussion.
The bule who lead the group has left so I believe the group has kind of died, but it might be a good place to start.
Hi all. Where in Bandung will the meetup take place? I am from Jakarta but considering of having a new year in Bandung. Let me know if there is any update about the meetup.
